I was bored last thursday, no real targets worthy of the ammo it would cost to pop them and after reading here about hi sec can flippers i thought to myself "now there might be a good fight!" so i headed up to some old stomping grounds of my toons younger days, bought meself a t1 cruser, fit 2 t2 mining lasers on it, 3 blasters, scram II,disruptII,mwdII,3 mag stabII's, dcII, and 400 plate,(dam I had forgot how those lasers eat cpu) and filled me drone bay with warriorII's, and went to a 1.0 belt and started mining, dropped a can labeled: " buying my first bc please dont steal" hadnt really had time to remember how much i hated mining when along can a ranis all yellow, and sure enough he crept right up to me can ...waited about 3 minutes before finally flipping me ore......wow.... how can it get any better? I start locking him and to my surprise hedoesnt haul it out of there!! instead he locks me and goes into tight orbit....not a bad plan (unless the t1 cruiser has t2 lights x10) soon as im locked scram shuts down his mwd(ZOMG! inties still use mwd up here) disrupt says he has long way to go to escape, and bam!! im webbed and disrupted...hummmm..... me goes into 5k orbit and speedo says im still doing 523 ms!!! life is good!!! me group of modal electrons, hit once in 5 vollies and me thinks...yep put the ebil drones on him...nah....let him think hes got me for a bit...gotta love dcII!! soz anyways...i let him gets me down to armor and ive hit him once when out of the blue ......poooof...me hits a wrecking shot..:(
man what an anti-climax...t1 guns, t1 mwd, t1 disrupt, and t2 od's....no dc 1 or II....soz ill stick to me origanal idea for piwats...guys/gals get in a corp, learn how to fly, how to fit, and raise your skills. both sp's, and game skills, and when you have learned the game..seen most of the universe....when if your still of the mind....try ur hand at being a piwat!
